And yet politicians continue to push more and more
patients into private commercial versions of Medicare (and Medicaid) because
the "private sector will be more efficient and reduce costs" despite
the fact that costs average 12% more in Medicare "Advantage" plans
and provides get paid on average 3% less (and wait on average twice as long for
payment).
