Political theater has been fun and games to this point but it is about to get real. All they have to do to pass the budget is say they believe the cuts will provide stimulus to the economy and create enough revenue to offset the cuts. There are times and conditions when that strategy can work. I do not believe this is one of those times and I for one am not willing to gamble a huge increase in the deficit and real harm to people in return for what will most likely be nothing more than a way for rich people to get richer.
The budget is released early, and shows Trump wants big cuts to NIH, CDC and FDA.
